The MiKTeX CD-R is available again. It contains a "live" MiKTeX system (as at 2/21/2006).
Some not so important packages had to be omitted from the distribution in order to make it fit on the CD-R.

The ISO will not be made available because my webspace is limited. Youcan download the 2005 ISO image from the TUG FTP server.

I tried to donwload MiKTeX down to my operating system Windows XP Pro. Unfortunatley the software is missing a file, and recommended that I use the MiKTeX CDThanksChuck Raiacdrbar@earthlink.net169 Lowell StreetArlingnton, MA 02474-3922

An ISO image for the current CD-R is not available. I am sure you can download anolder image somewhere. Google is your friend.

Hi Christian,if you need only webspace for publishing actual version of new MiKTeX CD then I can help you with our web server. We have there enough free disk space and direct connectivity to gigabit network (SANET II in Slovakia - link: http://www.sanet.sk/en/stavliniek.shtm). On our University the students are using TeXnic Center & MiKTeX - then it can be helpful for both sides (minimum as mirror site).Martin
