MiKTeX 2.5 specific packages will be removed from the primary package repository on December 30, 2008. This has some consequences for MiKTeX 2.5 users:
- The update wizard will stop working on December 31, 2008.
- Automatic installation of missing packages will stop working on December 30, 2008.
- All packages will be marked obsolete in the package manager list view.
